Ali Milani

Background

Ali Milani is an author, political commentator and media spokesperson who has over a decade of experience in press and media advocacy. He is a regular contributor on BBC political shows, Sky News, ITV news, LBC programming and across various online and podcasting networks. He hosts his own prime-time radio show on independent network FUBAR Radio on Thursday nights.

Since 2017, Ali has been committed to providing strategic communications support to organisations and individuals who do good within our communities. This has included running media summits, leadership programmes, and communication retreats.

In his own career, he spent 4 years as Vice President of the National Union of Students speaking on behalf of 7 million students across the UK. He went on to be a councillor in Hillingdon and Parliamentary candidate in Uxbridge and South Ruislip against then Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Beyond the UK, Ali worked with Senator Bernie Sanders 2020 Presidential campaign team in Michigan, California and Illinois and has been a keynote speaker in conferences throughout the world (from Budapest to Istanbul).
